a car that handles and stops better will always be much faster IMO that a car with £500 under the bonnet BUT a std car with a driver who has had track training/experience will be faster than a car with a novice driver with fancy suspension and brakes

Angel Works Technologies/rent boys (BenR) about £180 IIRC massivley improves the airflow matched with a remap, i would estimate a fair 10bhp approx (although, you may already have a decentish manifold, they vary) i can't remember if you have an exhaust and filter etc?

no the car cut itself off at 6.5K!! kinda just gave up replacement parts are sorted, our engineers were very surprised! it'll have a 7.5/7.8K rev limit when it comes back
