@leeds_182 how was your S3 mate?,looks good.

Sorry i would say 4k,at a push 5 if i save a bit longer. I Guess i cant tell till i actually go and look at a R26 and S3 properly,test drive etc. Also thanks @rainbird for the helpful post.

I will have a proper read on the replys once home,but looking for something bit more mature now im getting close to 40 i guess but still that hothatch/sporty side to it,something thats good on driving long distances as i go away a fair bit around the country,ie scotland,lakes,wales,cornwall etc...

Not worried to much about performance as long as it has some go in it.

Yeah i see what your saying & they all seem to be high mileage.Rare to find a lower mileage one. Yeah ive been looking at them to,i think its just the look of the S3 i like. If i do sell the Cup,wont till next year when i put another years M.O.T on it

Be on my mind for a while now of selling the Cup & looking for something a bit more GT focused. Has anyone ever owned a Audi S3 8L model with the facelift? Just looking for a buyers guide type of thing,good bad points etc please.

Ah ok,so i might just pop mine off so i can solder the horn wire back on properly and try that @loggyboy

Did you manage to fix this mate as i have had the same problem. Those wires & plug have come off & i have fitted a phase1 stalk but horn is still not working.

I may need to change my horn to & re wire. What strength wire did you use & how did you earth the new horn please?.was there no earth point on the old horn tho?

Anyone using a booster with the Sky Q box/router?.im looking to get one to work with my Sky router,im only in a flat so guessing doesnt need to be to fancy.

Still no luck with this,so will put new spade connectors to the horn & also maybe re solder the horn wire back on & connect it to the push horn on the omp wheel & see if that works.If so it will be the stalk at fault maybe,also i will use a tester to see if any power is coming through the actual...

Yeah i see when i swaped the stalk that the two small connectors on the bottom are in a slighty different position. I take it off again & have a look tho thanks @MrCube182

Same mate,I've just replaced the ecp sensor for the old one just to see if it's any different on my drive to work.if so it's the cheap ecp one or like you said may need a bleed.

OK so just fitted the phase1 stalk,all works apart from the horn now!.have checked the fuses and horn itself and all ok. Only thing I could say is the wire from behind the wheel that connected to the original steering wheel has come off,could it be this?
