Re: Once I've removed the 'Renault Sport' badges, best thing to remove 12 years of gu
Yeah I think it was just the Clio had had pins and thus left just holes rather than glue residue. The above will sort it.
Looks great chap! Sounds like you need a decent DA rather than the cheapo one (Halfrauds per chance?). Amazed a few hits of AF didn't shift the swirls as Mazda paint is usually pretty soft. Also noted a few holograms in some of the after photos (could be just excess wipe down), so defo the...
Re: Once I've removed the 'Renault Sport' badges, best thing to remove 12 years of gu
Are these pinned in, or stuck on? If the latter, wash it as usual and dry. Then soak a piece of kitchen towel in tar remover and stick it to the area. This will break down the left over glue/gunk stuck to it...
The fellow Hazel Grover strikes again - spot on that man. This is the only answer you need, guys. APC, medium brush to agitate, rinse, let it completely dry and then soak in i1.
Cheers, I have a slightly erratic idle and have had it since purchase in 09. Runs fine, just occasional. Wondered if this could be the fix as it's not boost leak/TB related...
339 standard so doubt 355+. And as you say, much heavier. Dads was great but not the quickest of cars. The ST does sound good. Did I read you'd placed the mic by your intake, hence the increased noise?
It honestly sounds more like dirt fella. Giving it a good clean should solve it. Try a soft brush with an apc or on a MF towel. Rinse both until they stop pulling out dirt.
Nope nope nope!! You don't put a leather balm on a steering wheel for goodness sake! The majority of leathers are sealed now anyway so the balm/conditioner just sits on top. So you'll be driving around with super slick hands until it wears off... Not really what you want when you're trying to...
Best colour as said. And had I bit the bullet with the R, I'd want it immaculate too. Nothing wrong with taking care of something. In fact, all the more so if if it's "not" yours.
Thanks for all the scare mongering in here, Jesus! So am I going to die in a battery fire related incident next weekend, having bought a Reliable-Affordable-Value RAVPower version?!
Yeha I agree now mine is new. Are you still running an S2000 filter or have you gone back to standard? It's the JR filters that fudge the MAF.
I was tempted by one on mine.
Pipe down FFS, lol. Not modding this any further. Just getting it mint (new mirror glass as the blue tint ones have got water marks from the bottom up) with a view to getting something louder and soft top in Winter (better time to buy).
I've cleaned my MAF before and it didn't really work well...
Nice wheels on that, Tom.
240 spoiler is the same as the V6 is it not? I always think they look better IMHO.
Mine is still chugging along. Hardly moves. In fact, I need to log it and make sure it's making full power before next weekend's jaunt to Silverstone Classics, as the roads to it are...
