How many people in this thread have actually owned all of the cars mentioned? Even driven them? IMO, you need to try them all. Asking in this forum will just result in every owner recomending their own car. If it was me, Williams 1st, 172 cup next. The rest need not apply.

A mate of a mate (no pics, sorry) did EVERY bit of black plastic on his 172 in gloss black. Looked absolutely amazing!

Engine, gearbox, brakes, hubs, arms, driveshafts, ECU (decoded), rad, alternator is all 172. Williams subframe with Williams steering rack converted by a proper rack company & is now manual. Going to order some new williams coilovers as the valver ones are pisch. I think thats about it mate.

Just towed it up to my mates to get wiring and plumbing done. Everything else is in. :D :D :D Then its off for a repaint, new seats/harnesses, and got some new wheels for it too :D (excuse pic, taken on my phone....)

I like it! Was going to get some myself. Does it look durable? Was it easy to apply?

Any recomendations on coils? The 172 i'm driving has KW's and i'm REALLY impressed with them. The Gaz on mine are s**t and i'm fucked if i'm paying over £700 for H&R's!

Hmmmm. Just had a look and KW's are around £500. Will they fit straight in? The fronts and backs? No bigeer holes required?? lol! Got Gaz atm and i'm less than impressed with their rebound quality! lol.

I bought the adapted loom from Beaniemoo's white valver mate. So valver car loom mated to 172 engine loom. Oh, and his unlocked ECU. Plug and play he reckons!! Why did you fit the bigger hub bolts mate? Is that needed? I don't really have time to get stuff machined again! lol.

Ok cool. Thought as much. Will williams stuff fit on my newly machined 172 hubs? What are you running Jordan? Not till its finished. About 2 weeks hopefully. Getting wired up this weekend :D

Is that a standard practice?? Never donr the whole 'camber' thing before. If I do that, whats to stop it slipping back over time??

No, Valver coilovers. 172 shocks were too long.

This much camber is for gaylords with VW's. Oh, hi!

I have just finished fitting all the 172 running gear to my valver and it has left me with mental camber. My Shocks/hubs don't allow for camber adjustment, so what do I do?? Cheers.
