Cup suspension is more than just dampers and springs there the different geometery and the different tyres and wheel hubs. Personally Id wait till coilovers come out for it there they will be much better than any Cup stuff.

Sounds like the coolent temp sensors failing/failed and causing the problem a new one will fix it.

You have to give it some stick early on to bed it in. Dont worry about canning it if the engines warm. The limiters there to protect the engine.
