Basically, there is a guy with a 1.6 Corsa on Bodies. He is running 220hp. (I think the engine cost around £12k!!) and there is also a mate with a 1.6 Pug on bodies that is 170bhp. Matey doesn't want to set the world on fire, but wants to be able to compete. Not sit at the back all day long...

Starter motor could be stuck? Put it in 2nd gear and rock the car back and forth. Although if your not hearing the fuel pump turn on, chances are its an eletrical issue.

Sounds daft, but how do you know the battery has charged? If you've just put in on charge after 12m of sitting still, its probably fucked. For the sake of £25 i'd buy a new battery and go from there.
