Was messing around on XBL last night, tried downloading a few free HD clips of movie trailors, the download would start, get to 1% then give up? I know my BB is fine as I been playing games through it, downloading stuff on my PC all night. Anyone else ever have such problem downloading content...

1080p = Progressive 1080i = Interlaced 1080p at that size screen is what you want.

Mate I would base the decision on the size of TV you want/can comfortably accomodate. If you want a 42" then get a plasma. I sit slightly further away than you, and the 37 inch tosh is just ok, any closer and you can start to see pixels. Id get yourself down to a shop and view for yourself...

Mine seems to think I owe her a Wii now I have a 360, even though my 360 was a gift from my rents. Ill get her a SNES then, she wont know the difference.

8 ft, Id say go for a 32 or 37" tosh. 599 for the 32 or 799 for the 37 from empire direct.

depends how big your room is and how far away you can sit from the set? The pixel resolution on the Tosh is higher. You are really comparing two totally different things in a 37" LCD + 42" plasma.

The only thing I dont like about the Tosh is the remote! but apart from that its awsome.

I got my Tosh from Empire Direct, £799.00. Thats one of the empire direct shops I went to. I think the price is the same on their website.

The Tosh has 2 HDMI inputs, where as the LG only has 1. Which to me is quite substantial. I Think the LG looks gash, I have never seen it up and running through a HD source though. I have the Tosh and its fabulous. I think Ian (Clart) has it too.......
