I'm sorry if i've ruined your thread by posting something that is completely irrelevant to your needs....
I'd have gone f**king nuts.
It was silly of you to pay the fine but i'm guessing you're young and a bit naive. (sp)
Now, if i was you, i'd get on the blower to the Citizens advice, see what they say, then get on to the previous owner, then i'd get onto the credit card company and tell them...
FAO Edde, Fred, Ted, shed etc etc
will my Shock absorbers and springs off my 2000-W plate 172 fit onto a 1.28v of the same year?
Many thanks in advance :)
you have Crap aftermarket springs that are not matched to the Standard dampers.
just trust me, Eibachs (or indeed standard) are the way forward.
Unless you want to spend £500 + on some coilovers.
Get them from the link above.
I used to have them on my old 172 but got rid cos i wanted lower. The ride is superb (not crashy/bouncy etc) and the body roll in the corners is dramatically reduced.
The only downside is they only lower the car 15/20 mm max, despite the manufacturers claims.
He needs Some Eibach springs. Either Proline or sportline. The handling is a massive improvement over standard but the ride quality is not affected. (if anything, its improved!)
