yeah mate im interested.
dont really want the phone thing tho as already got all that, just the internet.
Also.. how long am i likely to be without the internet, whilst things are being swapped over from aol to yourself?
ummm they cost as much as anyone else last time i checked.
how much will i be looking at for a premium one?
I wouldn't normally... but been with them for so long (since 56k was all the rave) and just couldnt be bothered changing really as last time i wanted to change i was told aol would...
ffs, what a bunch of complete and utter tossers. f**king idiots don't even know what they're doing themselfs, and yet they try telling you what the problem is... dicks...
I knew trying customer services would be like pollishing a turd, complete waste of time, they don't really give a toss...
thay're some of the most pathetic solutions ive ever seen.. i doubt any of those will cause your internet to run this poor, apart from the firewall...and i doubt that would do that much to it.. and anyway, ive even tried turning it off...
not to mention i reformat every 2 weeks lol.
Your home is in a non-cable area. That means though you can't get your services delivered by cable, you can still get great services from Virgin Media delivered down your BT phone line, just like everyone else.
:dead:
:O ive never been ask that... i just get how may i help you...
then they ask for security question/answer and sometimes last 4 digits of bank number...
sayin that tho.... iv only ever used it for billing
It was either London or Dublin... both came out with pretty much the same result, give or take a few kb/s
36th... ouch... thats one thing i hate about help services... Its worse when you ring up... that hold music...:mad:
Please let us know what they say if its anythin about them...
AOL online help... last time i had a billing problem, i went on that and it was blatantly a bot, not a person, and they all say the same s**t...:mad: Pissing into the wind talking to any of them anyway imo :( hate it!! its like speaking to someone that knows less about the subject than...
Ouch... still though... mine should be 2mb lol, and im on the same download speed as you, lol.
who does decent cable... lol :o
ntl?
dont really know the difference tbh.. dont really know whats what when it comes to connections :(
and can you like... make it so my aol connection is canceled...
^ S22 =t**t. :rasp: i want your connection
AOL...
as i said... it used to be great, never had a problem with them for like 6 years... then about six months ago it seemed to slow down by half... which bothered me a bit... but tonight... 40 kB/s ... going to take 6 hours to update my game...
Right.... very Pee'd off tbh...
on 2MB... for AGES i could happily download anything at a steady 255 kB/s
Then about six months ago i could never get past 130 kB/s ... it was as if my top speed had been limited to 130 kB/s as it never went a kilobyte above...
and this evening...
its f**king...
