Front windows are as dark as they are allowed to be as standard from the factory. I've had 35% all round on my golf and it looks awesome. Darker at the back and it looks like a van.

The most i used to get out of mine was 260-odd miles, to my aunties house and back in London. I thought that was good, but then i was doing 80/90, so i suppose if i'd have done 65/70 i'd have squeezed a few more out of her.

Middo, as much as i love your car, that steering wheel is awful. Looks like one of those 1986 'outrun' machines. 1.6Rsi or Exclusive wheel is the way forward.
