3G shouldn't be draining your battery if you are in a area with good 3G coverage. My iPhone has been on for 1.5 hours and during that time I've checked email, listened to the iPod for a hour and the battery is at 97%.
3G can be turned on/off in General-Network settings.
Or access Audiko on your computer, search for the ringtone you'd like, download this and then add it to iTunes. Select to sync the ringtone in the iPhone options in iTunes.
Be sure and select the correct options within iTunes, click on your iPhone which should be listed on the left of the screen.
I generally make 1 playlist with all tracks I would like on my iPhone and then select this to sync to it.
Yeah. Primarily I will use OS X but when needed I can use W7. Fortunately I don't need to use W7 often.
My MBP runs Windows better than any PC I've ever owned which is a bonus.
The Legend looks great but it would have been better if it had Flash 10.1 support like the Desire. Either way it does look like a nice Android handset.
A HTC phone with a aluminium unibody design and running WP7 Series would be ideal.
I bought the base model for £764 inc student discount which I'm not actually entitled too. Fortunately the salesperson in the Apple Store offered me the discount anyway.

That's not a bad price, the HTC Desire is going to be £400-£450 sim free in the UK and is basically the same handset but with the trackball replaced with a optical sensor.
The Desire will be released by T-Mobile on 26th March with Orange and with other networks from April onwards. I prefer this to the Nexus One as it uses a optical sensor rather than the roller ball.
The Legend will be released during April from Vodafone.
