Before everyone starts screeming "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!"
I have and cant find any info on weather they actually
create meaningfull downforce. (An hour of reading is enough for me)
All the threads ive read only go on about how they look.
Did any of you notice any more frount end grip after...
Second can be a pain in mine if I blast it in first, I change to second at
about 6k then 7k with the rest of the gears.
If its a standard 182 exhaust then they are prone to falling apart,
my mate had a 182 with 20k on the clock and his fell apart.
Could be engine mounts, Gearbox mounts or anything else thats attached to the car lol.
Mine makes lots of differant noises, my dash makes loads of weird noises.
Dont hold your breath mate, ive been trying to get mine done for
a couple of weeks, they said they'd get back to me and never did
ive rang them a couple of times now, today being the latest

Their website says £138 and thats without fitting or gaskets!
£215 all in is what it actually cost.

Was just wondering if anyone had a picture of
team dynamics pro race 1.2 16" in silver on a iceburg 172?
I've searched but can't find one at all.
I know everyone gets them in Back or White,
I just wondered what they looked like in silver?
I diddn't have the correct 172 exhaust on mine when I bought it
I only found this out when buying a GDI Stealth.
Andy said the stealth was alot lighter than the one I had on.
But I guess that only applied to my car.
Ah right I understand.
I was wondering why no-one had done this.
Looks like i'm gonna have to save my pennies then.
I guess theres no such thing as a cheap remap.
Is it possable to remap my 172ph2 with someone elses
RS Tuner Box?
Ive read that all I need to do is pay to have the software unlocked,
if someone is willing to do it, there is some beer in it for you.
When I was trying to loosen it the spring cluncked and now the noise isn't as bad, I bet there not seated properly.
Try and save money with local garages and they just f*ck everything up!
Does anyone know the torque settings for the frount suspention top mounts?
Ive done a search and found the torque settings for the Bottom bolts that connect to the wheel, but cannot find the top mount settings.
Ive tried to undo them myself and they will not budge at all.
I had prolines...
This is the funniest post i've ever read!
Makes a change from the usual road rage, keyed car posts
that make you rage.
Please post the photo of their faces, I think everyone would
like to see it.
Tell the big fella to keep up the good work!
I would rather pay you with a crate of beer if thats ok:D
as I lost my job before xmas.
I bought the springs months ago and only recenly saved enough
money to get them fitted £60.
Where in Solihull is your garage?
Car went in to garage with no clunks, prolines fitted and now it clunks.
I tried to undo the nut at the top of the dampers (under bonet) and it wont move, really tight!
Its not meant to be like that is it?
Ive read its just meant to be hand tightened.
The noise is definately coming from the...
It knocks when I accelerate and then when I lift off.
It's not a constant knocking its more of a clunk.
Press the peddle (clunk) lift off (clunk).
It doesn't do it when cornering.
Its most likely the top mounts.
The thing I dont get is where does the washer go that sorts it?
Do I have to take the dampers off the car or just undo the top
rubber bit under the bonnet?
Before everyone slags me off for not using the search function,
I've used it for the past 2 days and...
The inside of my car is covered in dog hair and the outside is
covered in filth, I prefer it like that.
I undertand that some peoples cars are their pride and joy, but for me
lifes to short to care about how my car looks, its mechanically sound and that good enough for me, I bought it to drive...
If 182 alloys were an optional extra when the car was new then you
dont have to declare them, however if your car gets written off
and they need to replace it it wont come with 182 alloys.
I had a golf with leather, multichanger and cruise control as optional
extras and the insurance said...
