you don't want a 182 cup, they're crap. You want a standard 182 with cup suspension and cup spoilers, they were both options from the factory, that way you keep leather, climate control, rear headrests xenons etc and theres f**k all...

mk1 drives better, seating position is better, throttle response is sharper (due to a cable throttle linkage) i work at Renault and could have bought either, but i went for a mk1 172 because of its reputation on here.

call reno customer services, they will tell you what warranty work the car has had, providing the car is not registered privately. ie if it is registered to a Trader or dealership, they are obliged to tell you what work has been carried out under warranty.
I think the problem you have is you used him again! If he fcuked it up the first time, why go back??
