Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6 I restored my 3GS back to 3.1 soon after installing the JB. It seemed quite good but I have no real need to run the handset like that and everything was marginally slower than with standard OS.

Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6 I decided to run the JB tonight and all went ok despite downgrading from 3.1 CyDelete appeared to slow the menu speeds of the 3GS down to the speed of the 3G, removing that has improved things.

Re: iPhone Software 3.0 - Out 17/6 & iPhone 3GS - Out 19/6 Looks like I can JB despite having upgraded to 3.1. All I need to do is downgrade to 3.0 and run the JB but I always found the iPhone to be very unreliable with this installed.

Having moved from the 3G to the 3GS I'm happy to say I made the right choice. The iPhone OS now responds in the way I always felt it should and I no longer get annoyed while awaiting my texts, settings etc to appear on the screen. Everything is faster and alot smoother. My side-by-side Safari...
