Anyone got any advice on how to see the scratches on a silver car? Wanna machine polish soon but I can never see them clearly!

I'm chasing the same issue with my car at the moment. Do you have an OBD scanner? They're cheap online if not. It will give you a fault code which you can then chase down from there.

Looks to be good. and mega cheap at £7 something on amazon. I just liked the idea of using C4 once and then its 2 years durability. Looks like im not gonna be getting my order of it!

Just ordered some. Seems like a nice easy spray on sealant. Ill compare it to autoglym polar seal to see how it fairs. Not that I need anything right now as my car is off the road awaiting parts :poop:

How many miles has the one you are referring to done? That seems like quite a lot of money so I would assume low mileage?

Probably said before but at the moment I'm using Autoglym Polar Seal. For the effort required, its brilliant. Load 3 caps in your snow foam lance, spray on after you've cleaned and rinsed the car. Protected for circa 3 weeks. Done!

It's still really good on an unprotected car. Can confirm :)

Honestly, give Polar Seal a go. 3 cap fills, 400ml of water and go to town. Smells like old mans aftershave (in a nice way) and for how quick it is to apply, it lasts really well. Did the old mans car after a spray decon and it's still going 5 weeks on. Not as beady but acceptable.

I just feel that throwing parts at something to solve an issue is an expensive way to do things. If it's your daily, sure, get it fixed asap. But this is a weekend car for me so I have the luxury of time to be able to diagnose and then be specific. I'm glad the character of the car makes up...

Well chaps. After a short test drive (on public land of course as my mot has expired) I can safely say it was injectors all along. So. All you gits that said injectors early on, you can be feeling pretty smug round about now 😂😂. Thanks for everyones help. Especially @william84

Just switched injectors. Feels lumpy but better. Maybe I'm just used to the daily. No flashing light just yet. THIS COULD IT BE LADS

After switching injector 4 and 1, the fault has moved to cylinder 1. To eliminate not knowing which way my obd scanner reads, I'm going to switch cylinder 1 and 2. If the fault moves to cylinder 2, its injector located in cylinder 2. If not, it's the injector located in cylinder 4. Back soon.

Having thought about this, surely it means that the leads and coils are fine. When I switched the leads around, it still showed the same fault. I'm going to switch the injectors from cylinder 1 and 4. If the fault moves then it must be injector based. If not, its spark plug based.

Switching 1 and 4 made it actually run so that would be that. Unfortunately, it's still showing cylinder 4 misfire. What does that mean?
