I have to agree with what you say. No matter how old the Clio is, it doesnt really look dated, in much the same way as the original Mini (just as long as it is in a very good and clean condition). The same goes for the old Ford XR2i which I prefer the look of rather than the newer Fiesta...

Talking of insurance - I phoned Norwich Union this morning to renew mine and the guy I spoke to was obviously trying to sell me breakdown cover/home start etc, and I dont know how they arrived at the final figure, and if I bought that from them, it would entitle me to a discount for my insurance...

We once had a V6 Calibra which from day one had an engine problem, and after about eight weeks in the dealer and a new engine and gearbox which still wasnt right, they decided to give us a new car which was perfectly OK.
There are imitation or generic parts which are identical in every way for most types of car, which I know that independent garages can get at HALF THE COST of dealer supplied parts. If there is a warranty to consider when replacing parts, they arent allowed to use these IDENTICAL cheaper...
Have to agree with you guys - they were from my 172 and I think they suit the angular looking GTT better than the more round looking 172.
I like the lights too, but I realise that some dont like quad lights. What do you guys think?
