BozVanDam Your car looks pretty good. I think that the colour of your car is about the darkest that these Lexus style lights suit. They really look awful on red, dark blue and black cars (my opinion) but ok on pale colours like silver and white.

If you look closely on most cars, painted plastic areas e.g. bumpers, look a wee bit different to painted metal panels.

They are only jealous because they didnt have such cool cars when they were young! A young guy near me with a Golf GTi, used to get stopped regularly on his way home from college, for no reason at all. But he did used to add / change something on his car almost weekly and it got pretty noisy...

Perhaps you could try telling the council that you require photographic evidence. After all it is their word against yours, and surely there has to be some sort of proof that you were parked on the double lines that day.

I have to agree with you Dash, limiting the colours keeps them a bit more exclusive and easily recognisable on the road. Apart from black that is! But then you usually get a black in most makes of car. Looks great when kept clean. ;)
