I had a look or rather a stare from a guy in a gorgeous Cupra GTi yesterday. His car sounded and looked great and it was black and shiny too and had a nice looking twin exhaust. It sounded much throatier than my Clio, a bit like my last car sounded with its K&N and Scorpion etc.

Hope these guys in your road dont include Jas - I dont think he is miserable, he sounds and looks rather nice;)

As petes said, DONT take a personal cheque for your car, as it could have been stolen and if you let the guy away with your car, you will then have lost both your car and the money for it. The only time you should accept a personal cheque is a few days before you let your car go, so as to give...

Has anyone noticed that when viewed in the interior rear mirror that following cars look very wide and squashed a bit lower than they actually are?

I have to agree with you that the Contisports are very slidy at times. I changed mine after only 400 miles when I got my new wheels and the Toyos with their nice tread pattern - so much more grippy too!
