Aye, I do agree, its just that BD players are always needing updates, and wifi means u dont need a wire trailing to your tv, many people who just want to view movies this will still be a good option considering its around the same price!
What most of these guys are saying isn't really true in my eyes. Forget about the games, the PS3 is one of the few players on the market which will encode all forms of Lossless HD audio(such as True HD, DTS-MA, LCPM), is fully firmware updatable and future proof, not to mention the fact it has...
Aye, tbh I've been with 3 or 4 reputable ISPs and when it comes to this the Customer Services are pretty poor in all companies. It's better if you can identify what is wrong and tell them what to do. I.e. tell them to decrease your train-up speed, or increase the signal strength, or take off/put...
Sash that's our line quality, not ISP.
Word Easy - That sounds pretty bad, but every ISP is like that, you have to complain to ISPA to get anywhere. O2's customers services flat-refused to turn interleaving off anyone's line who is not connected to their LLU service. Interleaving can be turned...
Hey guys,
I've been using o2 as an ISP for 2 months and they have been absolutely shocking. Note: I am no on their LLU networks, just the standard O2 8mb package on BT exchange.
I managed to get out of the contract by complaining to ISPA. I couldn't get pings to any game servers below...
For me I put it down to the O2 router being a Thomson and my other router being a netgear. Thomson routers are a bit notorious for problems with lines without very good noise margins and such.
Hi guys, after having O2 broadband (only the 8mb ADSL1) for about a month now I was beginning to get pissed off with my pings on Xbox Live games as compared to my mates I seemed to be about 1 second behind.
I decided to try online gaming on my PC to find my actual pings, and I was getting...
The lead time from announcing the iPhone 3G to getting it on the shelves was very minimal, about a month I think. Personally I would wait, 18 months is a hell of a long time!
Yeah Michael 3 sticks is just putting mroe strain on the board and the NB, you would definitely be better off with 2x2GB, you could probably squeeze some more bandwidth out too then :D
That's a good point mike but with a full bank of 4 I think it's more the consitency of voltage rather than the lack of it so putting 0.1v more could mean that if the voltage spikes slightly it could do some damage.
This is why whether you have a 600w PSU or a 1000w PSU you would still get the...
Definitely try the RAM sticks, I was having a bad BSOD problem with vista and every time the stop screen was telling me it was a video driver causing the problem. What it actually was was the RAMwhich was struggling and every time a certain Nvidia file was used it BSOD'd. I tried 4 different...
My living room is 14ft long (roughly 4.3 metres) but my couch is about 10ft from the screen (3 metres) and my TV is 42". Personally I think you need a minimum of 32" of not more but its your choice like!
You can't just define IS is effective down to a certain speed, it doesn't work like that. For a start it still matters how steady the hands are, if they are very steady you would be able to go slower with IS on than someone without steady hands. Also, focal lengths - at 17mm he could probs go...
