    Brake ducting

As above Corvette ducts are great. I’ve got Cm composite cup ducts in my bumper and corvette ones fit behind them perfect!

We haven’t had a roll call for a while… *Track Clio pics only!*

Thought I’d pop my 182 in this thread as it will be going on track one day when I get my s**t sorted out. @Joah old car but now has the turbo’d engine out of my cup in it. Just have a few jobs to do and it’ll be ready for an alternative track toy in ‘24!

Is it possible for a 172 to dyno 183hp and 245nm of torque with only a ported head and a decat?

My 172 I had was mapped by EFI (the go to Renault tuner in the uk) had group n timing and 182 exhaust manifold and it made 185bhp 170ftlb of torque. That had totally stock inlets on it.

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

Thought I would update on NUP, unfortunately she is now an N/A car again. It was proving difficult to race the car somewhere where I wanted too while being turbocharged. I had 2 choices: Sell/break the car and buy something else Or the route I chose swap the running gear over from my RB 182...

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

Haha im not smart enough to know that, just Ktec sort it out. Although it’ll soon be corrected at efi. My car had an AEM piggyback before, didn’t notice too much of a difference to be honest.

    Gen90 DIY mapping/calibration thread

What value would you guys put on a used gen90? It was bought new by me in April ‘22 and was fitted/mapped by Ktec for an ED low boost setup.

Two techs are a rip off

I haven’t seen a valeo clutch at that price since about 2014. Two techs are a good specialist and good guys, spent some time with them when they sponsored a car I used to race. Dick move putting this up imo

abs sensors for 182 and availability

I bought this one for my 172 (but total 182 running gear etc) rear right linked. Fits and works all okay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185076621225?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pfWVgpugSlK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=OL8M4kwdRPS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    172 cup ABS problem

Now I’ve got you in with my ‘172 cup abs problem’ and you thinking but they don’t have it, mine does as @GrahamS retrofitted it. So the last few track days I’ve done I’ve had an intermittent ABS light appear, ignition reset sorts it. But it’s now grown into a bigger problem. On live data I...

Another one! (But it’s a 197 this time)

Fixed the blower motor tonight, had melted the second pin as seems pretty common. New plug and and pin and it’s working on all 4 again 👌🏻 Now I just need to get into the boot, the previous owner said it was dodgy but knew the knack of getting in, I don’t know how he did it yet!!

Another one! (But it’s a 197 this time)

Ah that’s good to know, thank you! I did read they can get quieter after a regas so I may try that. Also last week the rad fan gave up, think the motor seized and then subsequently overheated. Thanks to @Chode Lint though, new (used) fan fitted and we’re back on the road. I definitely prefer...

Another one! (But it’s a 197 this time)

Driven it a couple of days to work now, I can see why they’re so popular. Although I think I do still prefer a 182! Couple of questions though: Is this a normal place for the temp gauge to sit? I feel like it’s higher than it should be but could be wrong! Are 197’s prone to have noisy a/c...
