I think that some folk in here need to chill out a bit. If folk continue throwing insults around it will be locked & those involved will be warned (and or) get points.

Alex - I do agree that it's only worth what someone wiling topay for it, however people are still taking the pee with their offers.
Say last year it was an 04 reg car for 7 - 7.5k This year you'd want an 05 reg car for the same amount of cash, folk just don't want to pay that though.
This has been done a lot in the past, to see who is in your area (and other surrounding areas) please look in the local meets section.
As for what cars folk drive, have a look in the clio media section for a bit.
As said it is a buyers market at the min, but some folk just want to take the pee in the amount they offer for things.
Some on here have got 04 reg 182's for 5.5k ! That's madness, not even half the rrp of the car new & they are only four years old !

Going a bit OT, I went to freeport recently (shopping even though it's crap) Folk were looking at my car, I was doing ok... tilll a yellow mk1 exige came along & totally pee'd on my parade :dapprove:

I personally am not a fan of the new 'clio' badge at all, I hate the way that it has to be spaced out to cover the holes on the boot for the other badge.

Just out of interest I often read on here that drilled discs (not even cheap ones, but decent make ones) are no good as they will crack & they mash up the brake pads when braking anyway.
How many folk has this acually happened to on here ??
