    Open boot, remove the 2 rubber plugs (door stopper looking things). 2 holes perfect for said catches. :)

    Turn it whilst pushing it together, if you can feel it being lumpy or grating, don't use it.

    Cheapest 1st, change the box oil just see if this make any difference. But does sound like clutch or box.

    Not a fkn clue old boy, they can set the machine to mins or mm, I ask for mm as I'm old.

    If you have gone to all that trouble to get the box out, change the clutch as well, it will come with a new bearing.
