Also the nice cars owner isnt going to want to damage their own car door by banging it into yours. Windy days are worse still, make sure that you try to park a bit more than the doors width away in case the wind takes it out of the hands of these careless people.

Also, if your car is cutting out, it could prove to be very dangerous if you are overtaking on a fast road, or turning right at a junction into a major road, as something might hit you at high speed!

ClioJohn, if I were you I would contact the dealer and tell them about your problems, ask them if they will let you have a courtesy car while they fix yours, and tell them that you dont want it back until it is sorted satisfactorily.

Jilly, I am sorry about the damage to your car, but why not do what I have always done and never park near the front door of a McDonalds, a Supermarket or anywhere like B & Q where people pass by with trolleys or there might be kids getting into the backs of cars as they are always careless...

If you try polishing your car late in the evening, when the air is starting to get damp it is very difficult to remove the polish and the paintwork looks awful.

The guys at my local garage really HATE working on Clios, especially under the bonnet.

Well done Towser, that is where I take my car and I have found them to be excellent. One of the guys there told me that they arent allowed to drive customers cars unless it is absolutely necessary.

Just use the tip which will allow you to apply a tiny amount of paint at a time, unlike the brush which covers a larger area and looks blobby.
