I don't think i've ever seen smoothed out mk1 bumpers, i'd imagine that smoothing them out is quite a task. I think they look ok just colour coded but with the black rub strip parts.

Colour code the spoiler & door mirrors on it (maybe the rubstrips & door handles too) Get a set of phase 2 rear lights too. That'll make it look spot on.

The usaul stuff as per a clio really, exhaust, filter that sort of thing, then move onto cams etc. Or do an engine conversion ?? Take a look on pumaspeed's site for more ideas etc. Check out the fiesta owners clubs etc too.

To re-thread the wire, you'll need to pull down the cars headlining (the grey carpety stuff above your head) then follow the wire, probably a bit of a pain to do, but it's not somethnig you'll need to do again. Whats wrong with your radio aerial ?

I'd go with getting all the parts sorted first (if your still going to do it) then get the spacers. There is a full kit on pistonheads, it's flame red though, it's £400 Your prices (esp for used bumpers) are a bit on the low side imo. You will need to lower it yes, 172 sits 20mm lower...

Get some of that armourfend stuff, it's not that noticeable until your up close to the car. It looks way better than a crappy car bra. If you get one folk will just thing it's sad, plus without being rude, your worried about a few chips & dead flies on a clio ?? Lol !!!

+1 I can't stand people/garages who claim that paperwork can/will be sent on. If it's not there when I look at the car, or they can't get me it before I pay in full i'm off. I won't buy it.

If it needs pads now, get them done (or do them yourself The aux belt needs to be done @ 36k or three years (whichever is first) so if three years is now do that too.
