Clear might be best unless there is a very light smoke/silvery colour, tons better than the orange.

I got my smoke ones from Demon Tweeks and I had to snip off four wee bits of plastic and they popped in no problem. The smoke against the black improves the look of the side of the car, just waiting for my wheels next week to finish it off! If anyone has a Demon Tweeks Performance Direct...

I think that the height of the seats in the 172 is already too high without raising it more with huge wheels!!

Probably about £40 for painting from your local bodyshop. About £150 from Renault! You can fit it yourself if you are careful.

Tony, like you, I think that clear might be best, unless you can get a light smoked, which might blend in with the silver.

Agree with you Ben, I think the Leggerras look slightly fragile compared to the Super Ts. You dont see Colin McRae with Leggerras! The way he bounces about, they look as though they would buckle as he lands back on the track!

Someone from Demon Tweeks told me yesterday that he has a 172 owning customer in Scotland who has had his car upped to 220 bhp, but I dont know if he looks in at this website. It obviously isnt you Scotland 172. I will see if I can find out who it is.

Someone here will tell you where to get your spoiler from. Just dont take it to Renault to paint! Find a good bodyshop who will paint it and fit it much cheaper than a dealer. You will see loads of chat about this!

Nick, the new wheels will be the same size as the standard 16" so I hope it will look OK, if not I have mechanic friends who will soon drop it for me!

Ben, the guys at Demon Tweeks also contributed to my decision! They didnt like the Super Leggerras as much as the Super Turismos, and said that they were getting too common, judging by the huge numbers of them that they sell! What do you think about their price of £650 with Toyo Proxes T1-S...
