A big thanks to ditz yesterday for helping me out at his garage while we slammed the vee on it's ass (coily stylee) :) This was the end result. Sadly the pic doesn't capture how low it actualy is that well. I'm off out now to see if I can rip the splitter off. Pic took on my phone, so not...

No, i'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that a standard 172 sounds sh*t when ragged, which imo it does ! Iridium (dan) said that also a vee doesn't sound that good above 6k either, I said I agreed.

Either look out for a nice set from another 172 (or vee) or refurb your ones. The top layer does flake off yeah. That's all you can do really.

Close, there are eight acid yellow vees, one was crashed (it belonged to tapias on here) The 'un heard of v6 colours' thread is pretty good for some rare examples. As said James has the only deep bronze one, there is a moonlight blue one too (iirc a woman from renault owned it) Illiad...
