Had car on Aligment system today, good news, nothing bent after the bang, tracking readjusted, so the car is as square as it ever will be.

If you grab the top of the wheel, does it move when you pull and push it, if so try to see what is moving.
Check all this first.
Not so, cutting springs is dangerous, and should not even attempted. Don't even care if Joey down the road with his low's Astra say's it's alright.
Springs are rated from end to end, so don't go cutting one of the ends off.
If he's a good mate tell him.
If not, let him die.
Nothing to do with spring rates at all. All to do with Rake, the difference in height between the front and rear. This effects the handling dramatically.
