+1 One thing i'd find off putting is the fact that the cambelt hasn't been done. How long have they had it for ?? Why do they want to swap ?? I also think that 77k on an 02 reg is quite a bit (I do appreciate that it's not intergalactic mileage) If it were me i'd be going for one on 50k or...

Budget tyres will not be a good point really, as most 172 owners won't want budget ones on thier car. I'd say maybe £250 (ish)

The search is your friend dude, look for a thread titled something like 'my new plate' as a dude in there has what you want. I'd be more interest in getting the actual car first tbh.

Looks a good repair job:) The damage looked quite bad in the first pics:dapprove: - the end three letters of your number plate were quite apt when it was dented up.

I do like the stitching, but the lack of thumbgrips looks odd now.
