Those HID's are horrific. Just get some xenon's off a 1*2 so they look good rather than just completely pikey. Have a look at some other non sports on here for some inspiration. Loads of good examples.

Nothing better than driving the first 1/4 of a mile at 7am in the morning with you exhaust popping and banging waking everybody up. It's a small sense of satisfaction I get whilst I'm tired, cold and often facing a 14.5 hour day in work.

The Laguna engine is only 165bhp anyway isn't it. If your going to put that much effort into a swap definitely do the 225 engine conversion.

Mark's Cup had the R-sport ECU so had the 7800rpm limiter in every gear rather than the standard 7200 in 1st to 3rd and 7000 in 4th and 5th.

I've just had 4 Pirelli P Zero Nero's fitted to my 182 on Tuesday after taking recommendations from on here. So far I think they're brilliant.

Standard v standard there isn't a great deal in it through the first few gears. A remap really bring's the Meg's alive and they will show a Clio up.

Is it decatted?

I think the close ratio box on the 197/200 helps. The 1*2 would be a lot better with an extra cog, faster gearchange and shorter ratio's. I still need to try a Mk3.

Welcome mate. Out of interest how was the V6 Vectra. I've always sneakily liked them.

It did, doesn't mean it wasn't pointless. Get a 172 and stick non-sport bumpers on it. Much cheaper than doing it the other way around.
