Have you checked the oil leavel ? Is it ok ? Have you looked for signs of an oil leak at all ? If there is no oil leak, the level is fine & not dropping your fine.

Go to your local paint shop & ask him to mix it up for you, even though it's the right colour it's worth noting that there will be different shades of that colour.

What's up with the alloys on it ?? I'd put the cash towards other things first tbh (like sorting the bonnet & exhaust out)

Get a set of clear side reps for it & get the spoiler colour coded. That will improve the look.

Wheels lok nice, needs colour coded mirrors on it though. I don't really like the 182 exhaust on it though, it looks wrong with the car still having the standard rear bumper on it.

Get a rubber gripper thing on it, they have them in B&Q, as it's rubber it won't screw your gear knob, they are adjustable as it's just a strip of rubber & a handle thing.

Tappets are a pain in the ass to do on them, I think they are hydraulic too. What oil is in it ?? If the dude was running it on castol gtx magnatec, get it changed. Valvers hate that oil & sound like a bag of spanners on start up when cold. Oil should be 10w 40 iirc.

Maplins sell it. Although most folk have wd40 in therir house so he's best off with that.

How much are they per seat form a retailers ?
