They are very good value for money. Servicing and repairs aren't cheap for a hatchback but they're generally reliable if looked after so yeah, they're good. Shame they're expensive to insure.
The alloy bonnet is so light isnt it. I went to open my mates Clios bonnet and though the catch wasn't undone because it was so heavy compared to mine. My 172 had the shift light too, it was cool when it lit up, I'm impressed by small things like that lol
+1 if anything they're easier to drive than a 1.2. They go round corners better, stop better etc. The power delivery is very linear too which makes them easy to drive its not like you've got a dustbin lid sized turbo boosting suddenly at 3.5K rpm.
I'd put money on that being a member of staffs car and the other staff had done it.
I worked at maccies when I was at college and someof the lads put 48 eggs on another lads car. Which then froze, was very, very funny.
Buy Nashy's car then swap the seats over with somebody who has standard seats. That way you'll get about £800 + the seats you want. That then reduces the price of the car down to £7700ish which is very, very cheap.
I've test driven one and they do just make you smile when you drive them. They're not quick but not so slow you are annoyed driving it, handing is epic on them they're so chuckable.
Hmm, i'm not sure about the removal of the back box. I don't mean to critisie, maybe its the video but around 30 seconds into the video when its idling it really sounds like a diesel.
Hope the lads ok.
If I ever do the ring, which I do plan on doing i'll be pretty much doing sight seeing laps. Not a track to do flat out unless you have a lot of experience on it.
Very clean. To be fair I don't think the colour choice and wheels help you thinking its ugly. You had your reasons though which you've already explained.
How does it drive with the new rack in? it has gone in hasn't it?
