I like my clio for what it is. A run around, its comforable over short distances, economical in the right circumstances ( got my highest ever mpg figure yesterday 57.5 mpg on a 45 mile motorway trip) and it touch wood has been reliable.
The main thing I hate it for is not being a sport, but...
Wouldnt have bothered declaring that. If anything was said by insurance, not that they'd open the airbox i'd just say I paid a mechanic to do a service and he said he replaced the filter.
Not bad results mate. Its a shame that RS's don't mate they're quoted power standard. Bit out of order that you pay for a 170 bhp car and only get 156 bhp standard.
Omg all those brand new Vee's, Williams, 5 GTT, 1*2's etc
Would kill to be able to take my pick out of there.
What would you lot choose?
I'd be tempted by that brand new Williams.
Obviously the cup pack suspension is better than standard suspension on 182's.
But if you add coilovers to both a standard and cup packed 182 would the cars then handle the same way?
Just because non cup packed 182's are going realy cheap even for a mint one but i'd want the best possible...
+1 drive one and its obvious, the throttle response it pretty poor imo. Then i drove my mums micra i couldnt believe how responsive it wasb because its a cable.
Loud exhausts on auto's sound awful. A omega round here has a SS exchaust and it just sounds cack because they hold the ratio's for ages without accelerating much if you get me.
I have only heard them on meets etc not been in one to hear it properly.
I'll go and test drive one some time next year when i'm 19 and they'll actually let me have a go of one.
Tbh buying new is like burning cash in the current climate unless you want to keep it for atleast 5 years because otherwise you take all the depreciation without making the most of the use of the car.
I got my car for £3500 when it was 22 months old with 29.5K optional AC and FSH.
List...
