I had to make this choice between the d1000 and the D40. In the end I got the D40, Case and 4gb Extreme performance SD card for £244 from amazon. Only getting it for xmas though so can't comment on using it. I made the choice because it was far cheaper than the d1000 and the d1000 got reviews...

I've had my abs on a lot lately on ungritted side streets in the ice. Tbh most of it is becuase I wasn't used to driving on ice because i'm in expereinced. Just got to get on the brakes early and not too hard. Never had the abs on in normal conditions inc heavy rain. Imo if your having the abs...

Have you ordered a TCE again? Bet its pretty useful with 135bhp. Not far off 2.0 Dyanmique S pace i presume, mind you with the lower gearing off the mark it may have the edge.

Loads of crap tbh. realy need to clear it out. I've got my site boots for work, bottle of oil, screen wash other stuff like that. I used to have it perminently empty. Going to give the car a good clearout and internal clean next saturday, then its first wash in around 2 months on sunday before...

Well the corsa VXR was owned around the 5th gear track by the 197. Tiff was driving them both (time attack) he said the clio was far better. Overall i'd prefare to have the clio tbh.

Yeh track days will be the only place left to enjoy a drive. Tbh on the right roads there is nothing wrong with opening them up a bit. The british are just realy rediculous on road safety which is code name for extra money for the government/police.
