    Yeah I did mate, 12 months of discount, 12 month contract. It was a bloke on FB who set me up, and he said to contact him at 11 months to sort me out. Just as I signed up to this, my mum managed to get everything on sky for £62!

    ?? coming up to 90k, but there are loads on 200k on original chain. It’s ‘only’ ~£1k to fix if it does go.

    It’s likely yes.. but it is scaremongering a bit. Think how many cars that engine is used in.. hundreds of thousands probably. The main issue is that BMW recommend longlife oil and to change the oil every 25k miles.

    My 320d has been spot on so far (touch wood). Change the oil every 10k miles and turn off stop/start and should prevent any issues.
