Lol, shadows aren't legal ! Only standard font & standard font with 3d lettering is. Yoy are a lowed the courtry bit too (on the left hand side) if you want, thats it. Check the dvla website, you'll see what i'm no about.

lol - a mk1 on a 52 reg is quite normal !! the late reg one is the 04 reg !

Mk2's came out on 53 reg - however i've seen a silver mk1 on an 04 reg.

I'm confused, why do you want to change parts of it, providing it's serviced regulary etc it'll be fine.

Tbh I don't want to fit these things to the car, i've seen the packet that silvatecs come in & what they sent me isn't that:dapprove: If they'd have said they are genuine silvatecs but re-packaged, fair enough, to me they just sent some pikey bulbs through. I'll call them tomorrow & see what...

I wasn't taking the p*ss. What I meant was that so many people (especially on here) do things which others advise against (in this case number plates) they then get pulled & post up how un fair the law are for pulling them :rolleyes:

Personally I think messed about plates look rubbish. If you do get them, fit them & get done - please don't post up on here about it.
