There's a set of ap 4 pots from a clio v6 on ebay (not sure if they would be any use though) Personally I too think that the standard set up on a 172 is more than adequate, my dads are really sharp, much sharper then the ones on my vee (standard ap 4 pots) even my brembo's on my ex 20vt...

I've never seen one with front fogs, never even knew they did them ! I love ctr's, but i'm not overly keen on the front grill.

They cost me £21.00 brand new (the girl had those awful renault lexus ones fitted from the factory) that included the holders & all the bulbs, she lives local too, so I picked them up - bonus !

How much are they to buy ? (outside of buying a new 197 with them as a cost option)

^ an r5 engine will only go bang if it's poorly maintained, they go bang mainly because most people just fancy turning up the boost with nothing else done to it, hence they go bang. I know a few who have run 5 gtt's with no problems at all.
