I've seen & read about that french valver with the 172 engine in it, as said - it was a total b**ch to do. I think it involved a lot of cutting of stuff. The actual car it's in looks like a heap though. I think they also put the interior in it too (I may have got that bit wrong though) but...

Read the sellers auction;) he messed up the listing first time round. A mk1 v6 has 17" wheels the mk2 has 18" wheels. There is no point on bidding on them unless you have a v6 as they will not fit any other clio.

With elephant & bell etc, it's always worth checking the excess as well ! Some times it's £650 !!! especially on young drivers - thats how some of the time they are cheapest.

Re: Need to sell a Clio 1.8 16v..HELP Valvers are a bit of a pain to work on. It goes wthout saying that you'd need an MOT on it if you actually wanted to drive it, even if you just wanted it as a cheap run around.
