May be a daft question, but I'm lazy. I used to have a bar at the bottom, that'd give me the current stats of the drive my finder window was in. For example it'd say 249.98 GB 78GB free when just browsing my own HD, but then if I plugged in a USB stick it'd say 8GB 6.5GB free. Where's that...

That's worrying. I was under the impression the filters came pre-oiled generally? And will take 6-12k of abuse before re-oiling?

As said, if you'd left it for three-five days you may have been OK. Preferably in an airing cupboard or similar. Chances are slim now.

Because I like Chrome? It's s**t free. I don't need fancy pants icloud stuff, or rss b****cks, I just like a browser with a few bookmarks. it's normally far faster. Ganza, mine's doing that too, guess it's just settings, shouldn't take a second to sort I hope.

Really? I need a new MBP badly, and can get a 3 month old one off of a friend for 850, selling mine for 400, it's terribly tempting, especially if they're down on spec. But then again, the new model will hold their value better.

I don't think so, camera was at the very bottom of the tripods ability, so must have been at least a meter. I'll give it another go if I get a chance.

Was using a 2 second timer, honest. And why wouldn't it focus? I can only assume because my sensor is s**t. I tried multiple times to focus. I'm not sure if I was getting tripod shake from the wind, that could have been the problem. I've not done any editing Ant because they were rubbish...
