Giles, i had this with my old 172 and here's what i did.
firstly after the people had gone i went out and took everything out of the car that was valuable. Then i left the car unlocked overnight, in the knowlege that if they were going to break in, i would make it easy for them to save damage...
They're nearly £20 from renault iirc so thats probably why. I can supply you some, PM me your address.
Bubbles didnt get any from Renault... I supplied hers just a few weeks ago :)
yup, ive got the originals still so can always swap them back.
if people genuinely want this done then i can do it for you. I'll be out of the country for a week starting tomorrow but can arrange it all when i get back.
i bought 2x1m of the stuff for £52 so no, not particularly! lol
it came from a local fabric supplier. I originally bought some "genuine alcantera" from ebay which to put it blunt was s**t and not the proper stuff at all!
heh, im quite easy to spot now... best tell her not to beep or wave though, my mrs might get a bit jealous ;)
and yeah, thats the alarm sensors
im glad everyone likes them, i think they look great and im always looking for ways to make my car different from everyone elses :approve:
yeah the dash inserts were my first attempt at alcantera'ing so i might redo them at some point... the finish isnt as good on them as these A pillar covers.
following on from THIS THREAD i decided to cover my A pillar covers in the stuff too as ive still got loads of the material left.
i think they came out much better than the dash inserts, they look OE in the 182 now and bring a touch of quality to the otherwise poor interior.
see what you...
