Thanks mate. Not sure, ive done so much to it now, and not much more preventative maintenance I can do. Probably just a wheel refurb in May/June and PS3s all round and a decent alignment set up.

Yeah easy enough.. all fitted, then it wouldnt slide forward, realised id trapped a wire in the rails, so had to unbolt etc again, but nothing major! Just got to get to Rentech to get the light turned off.

And that's the interior finished. Happy how the alcantara is throughout on the seats, steering wheel and pillars.

As above, ps3s. Expensive tyre but highly rated and have rim protection. My alloys are absolutely battered because I cant park!

Awful advert and about £1500 overpriced. The 172 should have ABS unless it's a cup. Dephaser itself is about £100, but is a cambelt off job so £500+. 182 FF should have cruise. - Newer 172's 53plate+ (I think) also have cruise control. I have sportlines with cup dampers and its a decent set up...

Knock the price off and take it to a local specialist for the work to be done. Or me.. I'm as good as a specialist!

Welcome. A snappy refurb on the wheel is a very very good solution to the melting issue.
