When I was taking the old one off I could hear it catching on the roof etc as i moved the boot :( hopefully I avoid it with the new one!

Nope, no copper grease :( Because i'd back to blacked it a few times, and it just slowly fades again. The part was £5 and it was relatively easy to do. Freshly painted spoiler and the wiper cover should tidy the back up nicely!

On a 182? Belts, dephaser, water pump etc £5-600.

I had a speedo sensor problem, bounced up and down, on/off.. new sensor and works now. Surges too! Only slightly, like you'd notice you'd gone a bit faster, and then notice your speedo is suddenly working!

Ah, yeah ive got them wrapped with electrical tape together, so probably touching right now!

The prev. owner had it painted to match the car, and it looked great when I first bought it, but over the last couple of years it has worsened and 'crazed'. So it's currently at the bodyshop being painted.

The connectors that plug into the above? Had tape around the whole connection.

Kind of thread related. Got my rear wiper off with the ball joint splitter, easy.. but this plastic bit, do these plastic points need to come out/off for my new one to go in? Tried pulling out with my hands, need some grips.. or any other tips?

Wiring mate from the brake light @Louis'

Mine is the white plug in the back of the brake light, from that is the orange and black wire,through the spoiler and connects to wires under the tape.. no idea why, but makes sense for ease of removal etc.

It was just like a ball and socket connector for each wire.. dont know the technical term.

Keys were out of ignition iirc. Tape looked to just be holding the wires together, around the connectors.
