how old is it ? as you only got a 3yr warranty on a new uk car any way. Most of them are out of warranty now (unless they are like 03 onwards etc)

have you taken the car to a body shop mate? as Rip3z said it may just pop out ,id go along to one & see what they say, a door sholud be about £25 plus respaying it about £100 (if you ended up getting one in another colour)

they both look quite light in the pics, when naples valver post his car up, his car looks darker (i do know what naples looks like, so im not going mad lol) still look nice though !

i had phillips ones on my valver (the ones which reckon you can see further) thats complete cr*p they were just the same as normal ones.

keep them in silver, just get them refurbed, they look the t*ts.

I would buy the best example I could for the money, to be honest you cant really be fussed on the two colours, as you have looked at both of them. one thing i would say (not on those two colours) is flame red - a different world altogether & much rarer !
