33.9mpg, that is quite a lot of motorway driving. Probably 150 motorway miles, 75 miles normal each week. Costs me about £40 ish per week :(

Im too scared too haha! It cost me an extra 530 ontop of my 1380, for remaining 5 months of a 10month policy.. So i calculate that in total it would have been 2500ish.. They say your first ncb reduces it by 50% so i'll be buzzing if it is 1250 !

I am insured on it now.. I just changed cars on my policy - but no i havent done a full price, as 5 months prior is pretty pointless and very inaccurate.

That is very very good! I'll be happy if mine is 2k come renewal, if it isnt im selling the car. I will be buzzing for anything under 1500!

How much is a small fee though? Is it like a percentage of the premium?

Yeah I saw the thread for the last Krispy Kreme one, and got my clio a few days later unfortunately but i'd definitely turn up on a Sunday evening or most weekdays.

Yeah the mechanic looked at it and said it just needed to be released, i'm no mechanic but that should solve it?

As said it was the front tyres which got changed. Thanks for the suggestions though. It was found that the pads were extremely low, which was caused by the sticking caliper. 53 quid later, and both sides of pads sorted = no noise!

So i have just had my 172 machine polished, paint corrected and the rest of it and i want to keep it tip top! I am completely new to all of this, and on a budget. Can anyone recommend me a process, how often etc, and products to use? I want good value for money products, so reasonably cheap...

Thanks mate People have suggested spacers and some fresh number plates so they will be coming in the future, but still trying to save 2kish for my insurance. Any suggestions people?

The black bit, on the inside of the boot, the left end of it is very loose and i can pull it away about 1cm, which is causing the rattle. The right side is secure by a screw, but the left side has no where to be screwed? How are they meant to be secure?? Thanks
