Nice pics, what was the deal with this meet then for those not in the know? Where/what/who? Fireworks? BBQ?

A Few of the Z4 in the sun:

Cheers, I wasn't sure on the wheels at first but the style definitely does grow on you, quite weird how it does because I'm pretty sure before I owned one they never even stood out as being OK wheels.. My memory obviously sucks... refresh? I had someone shout "Posing t**t" at me the...

From a lot of searching the forums, yes it is! It's accentuated from the lay of the carpark there, honest... :o Cheers Danny.

A Few of the Z4 in the sun:

Well I was going to try to learn to use my camera today, but time got the better of me and then upon arriving a Bluewater I had a few spare minutes, here's the results... (not great, but better than my iPhone attempts). I had far too much fun driving it yesterday so blasted through a load of...

Quite an eventful night "cruising" (including the police)

Didn't he say he only started driving in circles when the bloke was already following him? TBH I'm not really fussed either way but I was followed 6 miles home once and only when I pulled up outside did they come and ask me questions, if I was drunk, what I was doing, utterly pointless, as if...

Quite an eventful night "cruising" (including the police)

You could argue what police officer wastes his time following a boy in a white Clio around for that long??

Best way to route pull cable through bulkhead?

There's a fair bit of access there, you the throttle cable route is to come out, turn towards the passenger side, along the back of the engine (behind heatproofing) and then up to the throttle body, I imagine you could come out of there and straight up?

Quite an eventful night "cruising" (including the police)

I love the quality of the crash, awesome. Your car needs to be low, badly. You were probably followed to check for immigrants in your arches TBF.

Urgent help needed! Dangerous steering problems?

No offence, but with your evident lack of mechanical knowledge I'd just take it into a garage rather than try to figure out/fix something yourself. It'll be much safer and they should find the issue no bother.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Same ones I think. They come out "patchy" like the fibres aren't evenly spread and are clumped together in little groups.

My thick pile microsfibres go all bunched up after the washing machine, they're never as soft. Cure?

Best way to route pull cable through bulkhead?

Is there still a hole where the throttle cable is on a ph1? Down near the pedal set, just above? It could be plugged off with a gromet, or could not be there at all... but if it's not you could drill a hole there?

    My TRAX 2012 Pictures

Nice shots, I also assumed you were much older. Nice motor at 19! Genuine LOL at this photo though.. for two reasons... 1) I really hate the shoes the chick is wearing, i only noticed them after entering the thread for the second time 2) It's the beige shorts and Holister upper bodywear...

    182 gone for BMW 320D

Nice car OP, whether it's M-sport or not isn't the big deal for me, it needs some better wheels, with more appropriately sized tyres for a bmw, those would look at home on a zafira ffs! I want.
  17. Rob

Im young(ish) Dumb but i sure as hell like to have fun.

It's a good starting colour, but the wheels are unfortunately "those" wheels that we all buy then regret it when we realise what looks good. A nice car though, and a good base to make an interesting first car!

is this really a 600 quid job??

I think what Fred's trying to say is buy a second hand bracket for peanuts, buy a second hand alternator for peanuts, buy a new water pump and aux kit and then get someone who knows what he's doing to fit it.

Brand New O.z f1 Centre Cap in packet, eBay

I owe one random member one, but I don't work near a post office and I'm not at home when one's open, so I feel bad for that. I hope he found one elsewhere. I may have caps though. Maybe..
