    :R32

Nice cone, it's fecking huge. Not surprised you took that out, running an open cone on anything >2.0 is mental if you ask me. I put one on my 172 for a laugh, it made so much noise it was obscene, so f**k knows what it'd do on a 3.2 with an already throaty roar. Can I give it a go on mine? It...

    Temp needle up and down???

Nah, just like you taking a piss after a few beers, small flow, long duration.

    Temp needle up and down???

I mention that in my post. Funnel and a bit of hose.

How much do you spend on fuel a month?

Maybe baby. I do know that the difference between driving carefully, and like an idiot is greater in this car than any other I've owned. I have two choices, either hello 33mpg or hello 8.....

    Media Player under £100.

There probably are better ones about, but that one gets 4*'s on whathifi and has been nothing but great for me. Firmware updates are a little slow, but it copes with my library with ease.

    Vein's Black 330Ci Sport

I had a spare too, gave it away with the 3 series, bummer.

WDTV is wireless Ant. Mine is. I also realised as much as I'd like to give you my HDD, it's my Time machine backup for my Macbook.

How much do you spend on fuel a month?

Honestly I don't even keep track because it'd piss me off. I drove like miss daisy yesterday and today because I couldn't be bothered to go to the petrol station and I've made over 40 miles on the light. Miracle.

    Harphamominom's Ph1 Project - sunflower content p12 onwards

Fine, no ph2. Poof. Ph2 seats are better, they actually go with the dash better. Just saying. Looks awesome though Paul, really tidy.

Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers

Sod work and get it fitted then. If these go under 15's and don't cause problems, they will be a thing of legend and minstels will write songs about you.

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Agreed, there's a lot of character in that pic Adele, very nice.

Very tidy looking indeed, plans sound good too.

    Vein's Black 330Ci Sport

That's a blooming lovely motor, (very random you'd appear here too). I'm about to sling my z4 on the 172" 32's over winter. Can't believe you missed out on a set Vein. :(

The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Luke's got me playing with the 50mm more now, it takes a bit of getting used to (being a total amateur not being able to zoom etc), but I prefer it massively over the kit lense. Nala by Rob Strode, on Flickr Meadow by Rob Strode, on Flickr

Really very tidy, but it needs a ph2 interior/dash. ;)

Who's car do you want? Cs only

I'd love Fenn's porsche, itch I want to scratch. In clio terms I'd take Craig's sunflower ph1, Dawn's vee.

    Temp needle up and down???

Think there is mate yes, and if there's not one in the guides section, a few have written out the process better than I just did quite a few times before.
  22. Rob

    Fatty. (Rubbish picture)

Looks really nice that does, sort of. It looks good but you picked an angle that really doesn't flatter the car. If it was the same, but at the front of the car, it'd look better (I can't believe I just said the front of a 200 would look better).

    Temp needle up and down???

That's the one, three bolts to get it out iirc. The bleed screw is the bolt on it. Personally I'd just open bleed screw and bleed into a funnel going somewhere, unbolt thermostat housing, remove thermostat, replace thermostat, re fit thermostat housing, re fit bleed screw, fill up, undo bleed...

    Anyone weighed a standard 172 phase 2?

That's my point, surely you'd just adjust the car's weight by the required kilograms, (what copper is going to know if it's 1150 or 1130) and you'd be fine? As long as you're not weigh out.

    Temp needle up and down???

It's cheap as chips to replace mate, you can't see the thermostat to see if it's original or not though. It'll need a decent coolant fill up but it's not a hard job.

    Anyone weighed a standard 172 phase 2?

Genuine question, if you got pulled over, and you explained the weight of the trailer, the car and the tow car, do you really think they'd weigh you etc? Like are they actually that mental about things like this? I'm sure it'd make no difference if it was 3500 or 3510 surely?
  28. Rob

    Temp needle up and down???

That's what I was about to stat, thermostat starts to go, (or if it's always done it, someone's fitted the wrong one), so it's getting way above regular temp before it opens, the water's circulating, cooling it, it's closing, and repeat.

    Home audio help please?

Can any of you read? He has two small "sofa speakers" in the loft. He wants to add these into what he gets. He wants an all singing, all dancing amp, that plays CDs, iPod or at least a separate unit for the cd's etc, some floor standers to go with it, and then wire to put the sofa speakers in...
