Expensive hubcentrics are great IME, cheap ones do feel funny though. I think it's due to how light and how well they sit flush with the wheel/hub if you get expensive ones.

Keep the stripes! So many have them taken off now I think this sets your apart. Almost classic looking.

That locking nut should work on that bolt on there. Just needs a lot of pressure on it, it's obviously already warped, but if you press hard enough on the bar as you try to turn it, it should be fine. Man up ;) Nice idea with the playing cards BTW.

Some Clio's are driven from the box, some from the rear ABS ring I believe?

Looks an honest enough motor from those pictures, a good polish could save those headlights, or at worst a wet sand and machine polish. With regards to the seat, you can fix it but it's a bit awkward, new seats come up on here quite often though so that's an option. Welcome to the club.
