i dont like phase 1 wheels sorry,
i want to keep it standard and i like phase 2 wheels so i want to leave them on it, ill just have to drive it around cap less,
until i work out of way of securing them.
I hate theiving scum, they deserve a slap (and will get one if i ever catch one)

went down southend a while back and saw about 300,000 blue 16vs & wlliams all parked up in a line by the casino, as i was looking for a 16v at the time thought id look in.

change the oil in it, and dont use magnatec as it makes it sound like a diesel from cold.
(mine sounds the same, but didnt till i put that sh*t in it) so its an oil cahnge all the way then !!!
isnt there a key hole for this down the passenger side footwell ??
put the key in and turn it off,
alternatively get the place where you are having the alarm fitted to disconnect the old one.

ive got a rubber thing which grips it, with out scratching the thing you want to get off,
i couldnt get mine off by hand, but this thing got it off a piece of p*ss !!!
i got quoted more for a 172 than a cup, which i thought was odd, they came out about £300 more than now for my 16v,
performance wise, i wouldnt worry about it (my dad has a 172)
as i went from a, ahem !! 1.1 fiesta (it was a minter) to my 16v with no problems with the power difference of it...
yeah man, id ask for the money back,
when my 16v had its last service, i asked too see the bits they had changed, i even marked the old oil filter to make sure...
the cheeky fecker even goes, do u wanna see the old oil !!
when i got back they had all the bits in plastic bags ! and they did...
when i was looking for my 16v i looked at a black L reg phase 2, it had only 22k on the clock from new !!
but only one stamp in the book and not much history to back this.
they had it up for 4k and that was 18 months ago.
(i didnt buy it btw)
i paid £3600 for my 16v, 18 months ago, sports blue with leather, it was up for £4k but i knocked him down,
it was on 79k with s/h cambelt just done etc, its now on 89 k !!
one of my headlight bulbs on my 16v (M reg) is fooked, its gone dimmer than the other one, so which bulbs are better than the standard ones ?
as they are w*nk, i think the standard ones are 55/60 h4s ??

ive fitted a new thremostat, and the 2 pipes into the matrix get very hot, but no heat comes out, well only for a bit when i close the vents,and open them again the heat only lasts for about 30 secs,
and ive flusehed it thru.
so do you reckon i need a new one too ??
the actual matrix was £25 from bb performance when i looked a while ago, but fitting it is where the big labour cost is, as they wanted something like £250.
unless you do it your self then it will be al ot cheaper
