the two side mounts are easy to check for wear, loosening. Theres one under the battery, which when you remove the battery is obvious. the one under the car is harder to get to, but achievable with a jack... the nylon bushing (or whatever it is) wears quickly on this one. Just tighten them...

im 20, buying a 172 in March, just got a quote from Admiral (my first quote) which was £1600 full comp all mods declared too. Like i said its my first quote, so im hoping for 1500 all in.

as far as i know, if your car is a Mk2 they use surface mount LEDs. oh and good luck with it.
