Someone I know had one of these for about 4 weeks, drove it 3 times and got rid, Very very loud, very uncomfy, and drew loads of unwanted attention, people following him home etc, didn't one of these hold the 0-100 back to 0 record for some years? Awesome bit of kit all the same....

Hello mate, you need to fit an inline resistor between the wires, from memory its something like 23ohms, but you need to make sure its a decent size otherwise they overheat, I got mine from maplins, its like a long rectangular type, as the normal bulb types get too hot, mines soldered in and...

Is there not an argument to say, work with the grip you have, if you cant afford or don't want to spend £600 on a set of tyres, then drive to the tyres grip level, I have medium budget tyres fitted to mine, not the most expensive by a long shot, and I have to work to make them spin or lose...

As someone has said above, I believe this was more opportunistic than planned, if I was planning to break into someone's house and steel their car, I would be looking for something more expensive and desirable to take that risk, As much as its a horrible horrible thing to happen, they guys...
