Ive already done that one Rich... i had a small bump, and the bonnet was repaired/resprayed, a few months later it was chipping really badly so i took it back and they redid it.. i cant really take it back AGAIN. and the more layers of paint that go on..... I will post some piccys after the...

Well... The body shop said they dont have any of my paint left, so theyd have to order in a ltr which is £100 just in itself.. so i wont be getting them to touch it up. However he gave me a strip of the film to put on the bonnet once its done. I called Renault and they have ordered me a...

Haha im still not sure on the carbon thing, it would be very in your face.. Either way the bonnet has to be repaired, be it touch up or respray, but will think about the carbon

Going to the bodyshop before work this morning, fingers crossed

The bodyshop offered to touch it up before when i took it back to them not happy in the way it was chipping.. instead they resprayed it But im sure they will do an amazing job, there a very good bodyshop and they know the car well now, their renaults shop

Will chips away match the paint and everything then?

I dunno if i can have another layer of paint on that bonnet, its had 3 coats now i think

will probably let my bodyshop touch it up - atleast they will do the best touch up job possible

Just washed mine.. was just dusty so didnt take much, nice and shiney now :D Have to say i need to wax the car more often, makes getting the bugs off the front alot easier!

Your warned about it when you get the tints done (or atleast i have been the past few times) But i live out in the sticks and dont really have an issue with the police

This pic makes my car look a weird colour.. but i have light on the front and a medium on the back - its fine and ive never had a problem with police and my tints
